MEET THE FOUNDER
If I had one wish, it would be to free women’s minds of insecurities so they could focus on living purposeful, fulfilling, joyful lives. Just imagine how much better the world would be!
If we’ve not met yet, I’m Nikkita, a women's only therapist and personal trainer, and founder of FOUND.
Having struggled with my own body insecurities in my early twenties, I was quick to notice the same limiting voices in my client’s minds when I became a personal trainer in 2008.
Behind their successful, polished exteriors were worries about food, their bodies, being judged, making mistakes. A constant swirl of thoughts that sucked the joy from their lives.
After seeing a therapist myself and realising you can’t out exercise a critical mind, becoming a therapist was a natural next step. Having studied psychology and counselling, specialising in trauma, disordered eating and body-image issues, I’ve come full circle. That is to say, you can’t talk your way to inner-peace in a body you’re neglecting.
And so, FOUND was born. A safe space where women can transform the relationship they have with themselves and their bodies. Where they can forge friendships and feel supported by a community of incredible women - just like them.
ABOUT THE STUDIO
Life’s demands are loud. We don’t add to the noise.
Being in the FOUND studio is a sensory experience. Designed to make you feel calm, supported and cared for.
Each alcove is equipped with a locker containing all you need for the class ahead. They're also uniquely designed so you can’t see your neighbours. This way, you get the benefit of working out in a group without having to compare yourself to anyone else.
Along with a minimal design, we’ve incorporated the calming energy of nature by using beautiful, breathable Atelier Ellis paint, opulent oak Trunk floors, and carefully selected Porter marble.
In our attention to detail, we hope you feel what we so believe to be true : you are worth the effort.
